Unicorn pets are the special ones—the ones with a magical hold on your heart. (Likely, the one in your life right now!)

Just as unicorns have long been admired for their beauty, rarity, healing, and good fortune - the special relationship we share with our pets represents all the same things. 

They’re the ones who rush to the door, wagging with excitement whether we’ve been gone 5 minutes or 5 hours; they’re the ones who lick up our tears, burst open our hearts, make us believe in unconditional love, cause us to laugh at our $100 leggings covered in hair, and are often responsible for some of the most content, joy-filled moments of our days. 

Which is why we couldn’t think of any subject more worthwhile to be in front of our lens. Pet photography is not for the faint of heart—it is both experience, technical skill, an artistic touch, and some kind of animal-loving magic that ultimately creates a remarkable work of art you’re eager to share.

 Through intricate, intensive digital manipulation, we strive to make each image look ethereal and idealized as if you’re wearing rose-colored glasses when you look at it. (We like to think that’s how our animals see us!) What we do is not actually witchcraft or wizardry, but when you hire us, your results will feel like they’re straight out of a fairytale.

A love for animals is part of my DNA—so much so that my first word was “doggy”. A dog-obsessed nature has stayed with me throughout my life but I never really imagined how it could be part of my career. 

That is until I’d gotten into photography and was in the middle of a newborn shoot when the family’s dog came into the room at the end. I found myself enamored with wanting to take photos of him - and not so much the family!

In exploring that revelation, I learned that I'm not the only person who’s obsessed with their pet and who would want personalized, professional, and artistic artwork of my animals on our walls. My second love has always been art and interior design, so I went through the design process for my own home with my own dogs, tailoring it to my home decor and style. I realized how much work it entailed, but also how incredibly worthwhile it was! I wanted to bring a similar high-end and customizable experience to my clients with their pets and their home.

Unicorn Pet Photography was born out of sheer desire to further elevate the pet photography experience with all-inclusive, design-forward packages and a show-stopping end result on your walls.
